OUR STORY
In the heart of Hyderabad, beneath the chandeliered halls once graced by royalty, lives a story that began over a century ago, a story not merely of jewels but of heritage, artistry, and timeless trust.
From the courts of the Maharaja of Patiala to the palaces of the Nizams, our ancestors shaped an identity built on quiet grandeur. They were not just jewellers, they were the keepers of emotion, creators of heirlooms, and confidants of connoisseurs. With every emerald, every Basra pearl, and every ruby that crossed their hands, they engraved the Musaddilal name into the history of fine Indian jewellery.

PATIALA

In the late 1800s, when the Maharaja of Patiala ruled over a flourishing Mahendargarh, three brothers, forefathers of Musaddilal ji - Inderlalji, Devisai ji, and Deendayal ji - travelled from haveli to haveli with chests of gold bullion and gemstones, crafting ornaments for the royal and the revered. It was there that Musaddilal ji became synonymous with refinement, serving the Maharaja's court alongside European houses of renown.

When the family migrated to Hyderabad under the patronage of the Nizams, destiny intertwined their craft with India's most opulent era. Inderlalji was among the first to bring Basra pearls from the Persian Gulf to Hyderabad - transforming the city into the famed City of Pearls. Soon after, Musaddilal Jewellers became the chosen atelier to the Nizams and noble families such as that of Raja Dharam Karan Bahadur of the illustrious Malwala lineage. The family's residence at King Koti - once part of the Nizam's own administrative estate - became a symbol of grace, where chandeliers lit the hall that hosted generations of celebrations and artistry.

In 1955, the family opened its first grand store in Charkaman, near the royal palaces, introducing Hyderabad's elite to Jadawi jewellery - handcrafted masterpieces in gold, rubies, emeralds, and pearls. With each passing decade, the Musaddilal family expanded their vision: opening landmark stores in Basheerbagh (1967) and Secunderabad (1986), and later pioneering India's early jewellery exports and international exhibitions across the USA and Middle East.
